Bhubaneswar Dec 14: India’s ‘Raw Star’ Rituraj Mohanty received a warm welcome at the Biju Patnaik International Airport here Sunday morning.The reality show winner’s fans had assembled in large numbers much before his flight landed at Bhubaneswar and waited patiently for their idol. As soon as Rituraj emerged from the airport building, the fans rushed to greet him and shake his hand.
An affable Rituraj did not disappoint his fans and sang a few lines of the popular track “Teri galiyan”, which had become the deciding track at the reality show and won him the title of Raw Star.“I have reached where I have with the blessings of Lord Jagannath, the blessings of my parents and the love of the people of my state,” he told the people gathered at the airport.
Rituraj then headed straight to the Naveen Niwas where Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik greeted him with bouquet. “I congratulate Rituraj Mohanty and wish all the very best for him in the future,” said the Chief Minister.
The Raw Star then proceeded to his native village of Mangalpur in Puri district. As he reached Mangalpur, the entire village gathered around to greet the star.
