Bolangir: In a shocking incident, the body of a married woman was found hanging under mysterious from a tree at Ichhapada Samalei Nagar here in this district, early Tuesday morning. The deceased has been identified as Sushma Seth.
According to sources, Sushma was married to one Ratan Seth of Kushang under Bolangir Sadar area. However, she was involved in an illicit love affair with Ritu Chouhan, who is the husband of her distant relative.
Family members and in-laws of the deceased have alleged that she was murdered and hanged by her lover after they had eloped Monday. On intimation, cops reached the spot and recovered the body for post-mortem. Further probe into the matter is currently underway.
