The Hindi film industry is abuzz with the news that Anushka Sharma is planning to quit acting. It has been a while since the ‘Rab Ne Bana Di’ actress has not been seen on the big screen. She is also not involved in any shooting at the moment. Anushka was last seen in ‘Zero’ alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif but the film failed to make the desired impact at the box office.
Anushka’s fans however, cannot digest the fact that she may quit acting. If it happens, it will certainly be heart-breaking for them.
However, members of her production team dismissed the news as ‘rumours’. A source close to Anushka and her production team cleared the air stating that the ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ actress has no plans to quit. The 30-year-old is just taking a break from her hectic schedule after working round-the-clock in 2018.
Other reports stated that Anushka is also trying to spend quality time with her cricketer husband Virat Kohli. She knows that Kohli will be under a lot of pressure during the 2019 ICC World Cup and hence she is trying to be with him as much as possible. The two tied the nuptial knot in 2016.
A few days back, an unseen video of Anushka from her ‘vidaai’ ceremony had gone viral on the internet.
