Bhubaneswar: Pawan Kumar Agarwal has been appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT). Governor Ganeshi Lal Friday appointed him as the VC of this premier institution.
He has been appointed for a period of three years from the date of joining or till further notification in this regard.
Currently, Agarwal is serving as the Director and ADG of National Agricultural Science Fund (NASF)-Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in New Delhi.
His predecessor Surendra Nath Pasupalak resigned from his post in March this year after a slew of allegations were leveled against him pertaining to irregularities.
