BHUBANESWAR: Odia activist Abhay Ranjan Patnaik, who has served as a brand ambassador for United Nations, will attend International Jamboree Environment 2019 on the occasion of World Tree Day organised by World Peace Committee at Jakarta.
The meet will feature special activities like Applicative Environmental Work Contest, Environmental Seminar, Eco City Tour and plantation drives. Interacting with Orissa POST, Patnaik said, “It’s an honor to be invited at a global platform and I am very proud as an Odia to attend it. There will be a lot of discussion and I will definitely put forth Odisha‘s contribution towards environmental preservation.
Patnaik is a well-known social activist and his efforts to save lives through plantation drives have earned him many laurels in the past. From plantation to preservation, he has encouraged numerous schools of the state to strive for enhancing green cover.
