Cuttack, August 8: A woman (24) at the centre of controversy who allegedly accompanied Sarathi to Hyderabad last month and stayed in a hotel for three days complained to police that four associates of the godman had threatened her of dire consequences if she did not do what they wanted. The woman, is a student of SCB Medical College and Hospital. Meanwhile, the Commissionerate Police has urged the Crime Branch, to look into this matter also.
“Mangalabag police inpector-in-charge and Mahila police station inspector-in-charge examined the complaint and suggested the allegations made by the girl should be probed. Since the CB is investigating the matter, we have asked the agency to look into the girl’s complaint,” twin city police commissioner Rajendra Prasad Sharma said.
