Puri: Yesteryears’ superstar Govinda along with his wife Sunita Sunday afternoon visited Srimandir in Puri and sought blessings of Lord Jagannath.
After coming out of the temple, the dancing star spoke to journalists. In his reaction, he said, “He has been an ardent devotee of Lord Jagannath. He has always blessed me in my difficult periods. If I am living a happier life it is due to His blessings.”
The actor was spotted in traditional attire during his visit to the temple.
As the news of Govinda having come to Puri spread, a good number of people rushed to the temple area and were seen waiting outside to have a glimpse of the actor.
Worth mentioning, Govinda has acted in a film directed by Odia film director Sisir Mishra. The movie ‘Biloo Badshah, was released in 1989. Shatrughan Sinha, Neelam and Anita Raj were the other actors featured in the movie.
It may be mentioned here that Hindi film actor Kangana Ranaut had visited Srimandir to pay obeisance to Lord Jagannath February 19, 2021. Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty had also visited Srimandir April 25, 2019. He was then learnt to have visited the Jagannath Temple for a vow.
