Bhubaneswar, May 3: Utkal University’s website was hacked by some miscreants Tuesday morning. The hacker had left the following messages on the website of the university, hacked by Faisal 1337, ‘shame on your security’, ‘we are team Pak cyber attackers’, and ‘Pakistan zindabad’.
The hacker had also posted the flag of Pakistan on the website of Utkal University.
Utkal University vice-chancellor (VC) Ashok Das said they have lodged a complaint with the crime branch in Cuttack.
The VC also urged the media not to sensationalize the matter saying, websites of other universities had also been hacked in the past.
After the incident, Utkal University officials asserted that the hacker has not stolen any information from the website.
