Comedian Sawan Suman Naik, popularly known as Guddu in Oriya filmdom, wakes up late on Sundays. Despite his hectic schedule, he does not compromise on ‘me time’. “De-stressing is important for me as ‘me time’ helps me maintain the balance between work and life. I don’t want anybody to disturb me on Sundays. I wake up late because my I can’t compromise on my weekly dose of rest and relaxation,” says the actor.
Mama’s boy
Guddu loves his mama and the food prepared by her. That’s why he makes sure to relish dishes prepared by his mother at home. “There is no particular comfort food as such. I love to gorge on anything prepared by mama,” says Guddu.
Movie buff
Sundays are boring for Guddu if he does not hit the theatres to watch the latest release with his besties. “I book the ticket in advance. Being an actor, I feel watching movies is a must for enhancing acting skill,” he quips.
With pals
Guddu, who has 28 films to his credit apart from daily soaps, loves to spend quality time with his friends. “I hardly find time for my friends. On Sundays, I make it a point to sit together and catch up on the minuest happenings in their lives. We head out to the well-known eateries in the city to indulge our taste buds before leaving for home,”?he says.
