Orissa High Court grants divorce to actor Anubhav Mohanty, Varsha Priyadarshini

Cuttack: Orissa High Court Thursday granted divorce to Odia movie actor Anubhav Mohanty and his wife Varsha Priyadarshini.

Actor-cum-Lok Sabha MP Anubhav Mohanty had moved high Court after Cuttack Family Court rejected his divorce plea against his wife Varsha Priyadarshini September 22, 2023.

It can be mentioned here that Mohanty had initially filed the divorce petition before a court in Delhi in July 2020 citing non-consummation of marriage. Later, the matter was transferred to the family court in Cuttack following the direction of the Supreme Court in March 2021.
