Kantabanji: Four wagons of a goods train derailed near Kantabanji station under Sambalpur Division of East Coast Railway (ECoR) , resulting in disruption of train movement on both the lines.
East Coast Railway sources Saturday said and confirmed no casualty was reported.
Senior officials from Railways were at the spot following the Friday night incident. All efforts were made to restore the train movement at the earliest.
Due to the derailment the train services of the 08278 Raipur-Titlagarh Express left Raipur on June 1, and train no. 08276 Junagarh Road-Raipur Express leaving Junagarh Road on June 1 have been cancelled.
Train services in the affected section was restored by 7 am.
