Cuttack, Jan 19: Cuttack District and Cuttack City emerged champions in the boys’ and the girls’ categories of the Debabrata Kar Memorial Junior U-19 Inter-District Sepak Takraw Tournament at the Barabati Stadium here Sunday.
In the boys’ category final, Cuttack District beat Gunjam to take the top honours. Ganesh Nayak of Cuttack was adjudged as the best player of the tournament. Similarly, Cuttack City defeated Dhenkanal to clinch the title in the girls’ segment. Mamuni Mahata of Bhadrak was chosen the best player of the tournament.
