Bhubaneswar, June 29: The Department of Higher Education published the first cut-off marks list for admissions into Plus III degree colleges in the state, Thursday. Sources within the department claimed that—for the first time— the selection has been made accordingto the opted ‘Honours’ subjects. As many as 157188 applicants have been selected out of 234893 for admissions in the first phase, scheduled to be held from 30th June to 3rd July. The 2nd round selection merit list will be published, 7th July. Admissions of applicants selected in the second round will be conducted from 10th to 11th July.
Similarly, the 3rd round selection merit list will be published, 16th July and admissions for the same will be conducted from 17th to 18th July. Classes for 1st year students will start, 19th July. Meanwhile, Orissa POST has tabulated the cut-off marks of top ten colleges in physical and biological science, Arts and Commerce stream
