Keonjhar: Nine-year-old girl Baishnavi Gupta of this district has brought laurels to the state by winning a gold medal in the junior category of the 16th National Kudo Championship held in Surat, Gujarat, recently.
The remarkable success of Baishnavi, a student of Class IV of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Keonjhar, has made her school and the district proud by achieving the feat, which is a testament to her dedication, discipline and sportsmanship.
Baishnavi is the daughter of Sanjay Kumar, a train manager at East Coast Railway in Keonjhar.
Keonjhar Collector Vishal Singh has expressed his happiness and congratulated Baishnavi and her family.
He said that this success will inspire many young players from Keonjhar and Odisha to excel in sports.
