Bhubaneswar: Dry weather is very likely to prevail across Odisha in the next week, the regional centre of the India Meteorological Department in Bhubaneswar said Wednesday.
Light to moderate rainfall occurred at one or two places across Odisha during the past 24 hours, IMD said.
The highest rainfall was recorded in Polsara area of Ganjam district, followed by Bhubaneswar Aero in Khurda and Banki in Cuttack. Ghasipura in Keonjhar also received notable rainfall. Other areas that recorded light showers include parts of Mayurbhanj, Koraput, Kandhamal and Cuttack districts.

The IMD said such scattered light to moderate rainfall activity was observed in isolated pockets of the state over the last day.
Notably, the cyclonic circulation over the southeast Bay of Bengal persists and extends up to 1.5 km above mean sea level.
