Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi Friday said the state government will provide Rs 125 crore in financial assistance for the Rs 452-crore Integrated Power Electronics project being taken up in collaboration with IIT Bhubaneswar.
In a post on X, Majhi said the project would strengthen research, innovation and technological development in Odisha and create new opportunities for the state’s highly skilled and educated youth.

He said the initiative would help build an ecosystem for advanced research and innovation in power electronics within the state, while opening up new opportunities for local talent.
The chief minister said the project reflected the state government’s focus on leveraging research and technology to create opportunities for Odisha’s young professionals and strengthen the state’s technology capabilities.
