Bhubaneswar: Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Pranati Chhotray has assumed charge as the new Managing Director of the Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation (OMFED).
Chhotray, who was previously serving as Additional Secretary in the Home Department, formally took over the charge from Vijay Amruta Kulange October 27. Following her appointment, officials and employees of OMFED welcomed and congrat ulated the newly appointed Managing Director at a reception ceremony organised at the federation’s office.
During the interaction, Chhotray called for collective efforts to strengthen OMFED, economically empower dairy farmers and enhance the organisation’s contribution to the economic development of Odisha.
She emphasised the need for coordinated efforts by all officials and employees to take OMFED forward and ensure that the federation plays a significant role in improving the livelihoods of dairy farmers and supporting the state’s economic growth.
