Cuttack: Only 24.58 per cent candidates have got through the Orissa Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET), the results of which were announced by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) here Monday.
Sources said 24.67 per cent candidates have qualified the Paper I examination while the Paper II recorded a pass percentage of 24.48.
The results, final score keys and OMR sheet copies of the candidates have been uploaded to the official website of the board www.bseodisha.ac.in. The candidates are advised to visit the website and download their results, score keys and OMR sheets by using their roll numbers, the board said.
This year, the OTET, which is conducted to select candidates for appointment as primary teacher, was held September 25. Altogether 94,855 candidates had registered for the examination of which 9,734 were found absent during the test and two were caught for malpractice. As many as 23,322 have successfully cleared the tests.
