Abhay resurrects BBSR-B

Cuttack, March 9: Abhay Mallick (84) hit a fluent half century to help Bhubaneswar-B pile up a challenging score of 310 runs for the loss of eight wickets against Bhubaneswar-A on the first day of the four-day Inter-District Kalahandi Cup final at the Nimpur Sports Club Ground here Monday.

Gourav Mohapatra (54) and, Dibyajyoti Pradhan (50) batted well, but could not convert their starts. After a middle order debacle, Sandeep Sethy (27 n o) and Prabir Nayak (25 n o) resurrected their innings.

Tukuna Sahoo (4/40) and Niranjan Behera (4/82) bowled well for Bhubaneswar-A.
