Puri: In a major scare, a judicial court and three government offices including the collectorate were sealed after an advocate and a court staff tested positive for COVID-19 in Puri district Wednesday.
The district administration completely sealed Puri Judicial Court, Collectorate, Sub-Collector Office and District Sub-Registrar Office.
As an additional precautionary measure, the area from Harihar Chhak to Town Hall has been declared as a containment zone, informed Puri Sub-Collector.
The containment restrictions will remain in force till further order.
18 fresh COVID-19 cases have been reported in last 24 hours in Puri district Wednesday. With this, the total number of cases in the district has shot up to 188, of which 85 are active and 103 have recovered.
