Mumbai: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has reportedly demolished portions of construction work at Hindi film actor Ajay Devgn’s bungalow in Mumbai’s Juhu area following alleged irregularities in renovation work.

According to media reports, the civic body had issued a stop-work notice September 10, 2026, under Section 354A of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, directing that construction be halted and relevant permissions be submitted.

The BMC reportedly took action after the renovation work allegedly continued despite the notice.

The property, located in Kapolo Cooperative Housing Society, was reportedly undergoing internal modifications for a proposed spa and salon.

Reports suggest that the bungalow had been leased to Florian Hurel Salon Private Limited for five years under an agreement valued at approximately Rs 10.61 crore.

Sources close to the actor’s team have reportedly maintained that the necessary permissions were obtained from the relevant authorities.

Ajay Devgn has not publicly commented on the reported civic action.
