Mumbai: Housefull 4 star Akshay Kumar will now share the screen with Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar who is going to make her debut in the movie Prithviraj.
The film is based on the life of King Prithviraj and his heroics. Manushi will play his love interest, Princess Sanyogita and Akki will essay the role of the king himself. Ahead of the film’s release, a ‘muhurat puja’ was held which was attended by the cast and crew.
Akshay shared a video from the puja ceremony on his social media account. In the video, we can see that Manushi too was in attendance. It was also attended by Rani Mukerji, who is producer Aditya Chopra’s wife.
Sharing the video on Twitter, Akshay wrote: “Here’s to auspicious beginnings… Stepping into the world of #Prithviraj. In theatres #Diwali2020! Need your love and best wishes as always. @ManushiChhillar #DrChandraprakashDwivedi @yrf.”

According to a report, film director Chandraprakash Dwivedi has revealed that Manushi has been rehearsing six days a week and getting groomed for film.
The film is slated to hit the screens on Diwali 2020 and expected to clash with the Kangana Ranaut starrer Dhaakad.
