Mumbai: Khiladi Kumar Akshay is one of the few actors who loves to experiment with his characters and acting. After doing action and romantic movies, Akshay will now work in a horror-comedy movie that is the remake of a Telugu movie.
On Saturday, Akshay released the first look poster of his film ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ on social media. It is the hindi remake of South’s superhit horror movie ‘Kanchana’.
Kaira Advani will be seen in lead and the film is directed by actor-director-producer-choreographer Raghava Lawrence.
Sharing the poster, Akshay Kumar wrote, “Bringing you one bomb of a story,#LaxmmiBomb starring @kiaraaliaadvani & yours truly!Bursting in cinemas on 5th June,2020 Fox Star Studios Presents. A Cape of Good Films Production in association with Shabinaa Entertainment & Tusshar Entertainment House.”
Akshay Kumar’s home production Cape of Good Films will be producing Laxmmi Bomb along with Fox Star Studios.
Reports stated that megastar Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen in the movie. ‘Lakshmi Bomb’ is slated to release June 5 next year. At present, Akshay is busy shooting for Rohit Shetty’s film Sooryavanshi. He will be romancing Katrina Kaif on screen after a long time.
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar has already the shot for Good News also starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. The film which was earlier slated to release in September has been pushed to December this year.
