Amit bags bronze in powerlifting

Bhubaneswar, Jan 8: Amit Kumar Thappa of Orissa bagged a bronze medal in the National Junior Powerlifting Championship in Jammu, Thursday. Amit secured the third position, lifting a total of 400kg including 135 kg in smart, 90kg in benchpress and 175 kg in deadlift. As many as six lifters are participating in this meet.
