Bhubaneswar: Odisha health department Saturday said that 1,011 persons who earlier tested positive for COVID-19 have recovered and are being discharged.
Out of the 1,011 persons, 138 are from Angul, 114 from Khordha, 81 from Bolangir, 78 from Cuttack, 76 from Mayurbhanj, 45 from Balasore, 45 from Jagatsinghpur, 43 from Kendrapara, 40 from Kalahandi, 39 from Sundargarh, 34 from Bargarh, 29 from Nuapada, 28 from Jajpur, 26 from Puri, 24 from Dhenkanal, 20 from Keonjhar, 19 from Nabarangpur, 18 from Jharsuguda, 16 from Sambalpur, 12 from Ganjam, 12 from Nayagarh, 10 from Bhadrak, 10 from Kandhamal, nine from Koraput, nine from Sonepur, five from Malkangiri, three from Deogarh, three from Rayagada, two from Gajapati and 23 from State Pool.
With this, total recoveries in the state now stand at 3,04,908. Meanwhile, Odisha’s COVID-19 caseload touched 3,13,323 with the detection of 778 new cases, while 17 more fatalities pushed its coronavirus death toll to 1,625.
