Cuttack: A four-member doctors’ team of the SCB Medical College and Hospital (SCBMCH) here Thursday successfully removed an arrow that pierced the body of a woman hailing from Kathapala in Keonjhar district.The woman identified as Ali Jena was shot with an arrow over some dispute with a youth of the same village under Ghasipura police limits. She was initially rushed to the nearby Anandapur hospital and later shifted to SCBMCH casualty ward after her condition worsened.“The patient was provided with necessary treatment prior to the surgery. The arrow was operated out from her body after four hours of ordeal,” said surgery department head Manoj Patnaik.
