Ahead of the title clash, social media is flooded with memes. Many users claim the final was pre-planned and created various memes related to the India-Pakistan final.

The social media reaction is divided over the decision to play the match, with calls for boycotts. A user wrote on the platform Ek, “The whole business is set, now India and Pakistan will play again in the final… The more times they play, the more business will be done… Whether they shake hands in the match or not, both are equally involved in the business…”

Yet another user edited a photo of Jay Shah to resemble Marvel superhero Doctor Strange, captioning it: “Lots of money, the organisers are making a fortune. Three Ind vs Pak matches in one cup.”

Another user shared a scene from the movie Hungama and wrote, “These beggars are back again.”

A video by a Pakistani content creator screaming has also been widely shared. Many users claim the Asia Cup final was fixed to generate views.
