Vaishali: At least 11 people, including children, died Tuesday after a boat carrying 15 to 20 passengers capsized in the Ganga River in Bihar’s Vaishali district.
The incident occurred in the Raghopur area when the passengers were reportedly travelling to attend a banquet. Most of those killed are believed to be children.
Authorities rushed to the spot following the incident, and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams were deployed to assist with rescue and relief operations.
