Bhadrak: Police arrested six persons on the charge of assaulting a couple on a court premises in Basudevpur area of Bhadrak district. Golapi Moharana and her husband Shyamsundar Moharana, residents of Khirakona under Simulia police limits, had filed a complaint Wednesday at the police station in this regard.
Shyamsundar has a land dispute with his brother. Two cases in this regard have been pending. The couple had come to Basudevpur court Wednesday when Bishnumohan Moharana, his wife Basanti, and their associates attacked Shyamsundar and his wife.
ASI Sujata Khamri said two cases were registered and six persons were arrested.
