If you work for a longer period on your mobile phones and laptops, it will not only have a detrimental effect on your vision but at the same time make you feel stressed.

According to the research report of Toronto University, if one watches one’s mobile phone for an hour, the semi liquid like substance in eyes get dried and it will have a bad impact on retina. If it continues for a longer period, the vision gets affected.

The HEV light or the blue light is the light we see emitted from LEDs and the Sun. as we cannot look at these objects for a longer period, it is obvious that blue light is harmful.

Working late night on mobile phones and laptop may result in loss of memory power, and worst it may cause brain tumor, the report suggest.

Doctors have some advices for the ones who have to work on mobile phones or laptops for longer duration. Place the mobile phone or the laptop at a comfortable working distance. At the same time ensure that the screen is bright and the font size is bigger enough to make your reading stress free.

The rule of 20s is also advised. Every 20 minutes, take a break and stare a distant object at a distance of 20 feet and then resume your work. This will go a long way in making your eye muscles feel relaxed..
