Bhubaneswar: The management of IndusInd Bank suspended the state head-cum-manager, after three female employees of the Bhomikhal branch lodged a complaint with Sahid Nagar police alleging that he had sexually harassed them. The bank Saturday issued a statement that Kasturi Surendra was suspended with immediate effect.“The bank’s internal committee, formed in line with prescribed laws and comprising senior women from within and outside, will investigate the matter. Based on the findings of this committee, action will be taken against those found guilty of misconduct. The bank has a zero-tolerance policy in these matters and believes in fair and equal treatment to all employees,” the bank’s spokesperson said. Surendra has been asked to appear before Sahid Nagar police within 14 days, said DCP Satyabrata Bhoi. PNN
