Benedict Cumberbatch marries Sophie Hunter

London: Actor Benedict Cumberbatch and his pregnant fiancee Sophie Hunter secretly married in the presence of close friends and family. Cumberbatch, 38, and Hunter, an actress and theatre director, walked down the aisle at the 12th-century St. Peter and St. Paul Church near Brighstone Saturday, reports telegraph.co.uk. The couple, who announced their engagement in November last year, were keen to exchange vows before Hunter delivered their baby. Among the guests was Cumberbatch’s “Sherlock” co-star Andrew Scott. Hunter was shielded from cameras and onlookers by umbrellas as she entered the church. About 40 minutes later, the couple emerged to cheers and left in a vintage Jaguar.
