Bhubaneswar: Ten digital content creators and social media influencers from Odisha are showcasing the state’s rich art, craft and cultural heritage at Bharat Parv 2026, being held at the Statue of Unity in Gujarat from November 1 to 15.
Organised under the aegis of the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Bhubaneswar, the initiative aims to take Odisha’s traditional artistic expressions to a wider national and digital audience while promoting the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’.
At the festival’s ‘One District, One Product’ (ODOP) pavilion, the creators are documenting live demonstrations of Odisha’s renowned Pattachitra paintings and Kataka’s silver filigree work.
The showcase, featuring traditional crafts from different states, highlights the richness of India’s indigenous art forms and supports the ‘vocal for local’ campaign.
Odisha’s cultural identity also finds expression through Sambalpuri dance performances at the festival, which brings together cultural troupes from 24 states and Union Territories.
The performances, alongside regional food showcases, offer visitors a glimpse of India’s diverse traditions.
The delegation has also visited the Statue of Unity complex, Arogya Van and the Ekta Prakash Parv, a light-and-laser show celebrating Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s legacy of national unity.
