Cuttack, Jan 30: Bhubaneswar-A was in the driver’s seat against Cuttack-A on the second day of their three-day final match in the Sumit Bose Memorial OCA U-16 Inter-District cricket tournament at the Bidanasi Ground here Saturday.
In reply to the first innings total of 213 by Bhubaneswar-A, Cuttack A were bundled out for a paltry 55 against some penetrative bowling by Ansuman Sinha. Ansuman (5/17) bowled with a fiery pace to return with a five wicket haul.
The visitors though faced a batting debacle in their second essay, yet they were now sitting pretty at 174/6. Suman Das (50 batting) was occupying the crease with his fighting half century at stumps. Anwesh Tripathy (33) and Ansuman Sinha (34) also played useful innings. Nitish Niranjan Samantray (3/46) was the most successful bowler for the hosts.

ELO XI win
Impressive all-round performance by Ashish Sahu propelled E-League Organisers ELO XI to a 75-run win over co-hosts Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in an Elite Series match of the third E-League Cricket Tournament at the IMMT Ground in Bhubaneswar, Saturday.
Opting to bat first, ELO XI rode on a dashing 94 (83 balls, 9×4, 3×6) by Ashish Sahu and a 96-ball 72 by Soumya Sourav Kumar to make a healthy total of 228.
In reply, TCS were dismissed for 153. Ashish followed his sparkling knock with a three-wicket haul to be adjudged man of the match.
