Cuttack, Jan 11: Bhubaneswar-B and Jajpur qualified for the super league stage of the Sumit Bose Memorial OCA U-16 Inter-District cricket tournament after winning their respective matches at different venues here Sunday.
At the Bidanasi Ground, Bhubaneswar thrashed a hapless Malkangiri by a huge margin of 241 runs. Opting to bat first, Bhubaneswar-B posted an imposing total of 305 runs for the loss of five wickets with Farhat Khan (98) emerging as the highest scorer. In reply, Malkangiri were bundled out for a meager 64 runs.
