Mumbai: Hindi cinema actor Shahid Kapoor turns a year older today.

Shahid is one of the top actors of the Hindi film industry but he started his career in advertising and background dancing.

Directed by Prabhudeva, the film R Rajkumar got average success at the ticket window. In this film, Shahid won the hearts of the audience with his tremendous action sequences. Shahid’s film Haider (2014) bagged him the Filmfare Award for Best Actor for his performance in the film, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. Apart from this, his performances in the film Padmaavat and Kabir Singh were also appreciated. Kabir Singh became Shahid’s highest-grossing film.
Shahid’s pairing with Kareena Kapoor in films was a huge hit among fans. The news of the two dating also hogged the limelight back in the day. However, Kareena married Saif Ali Khan and Shahid married Meera Rajput.
There is an age difference of 13 years between Mira and Shahid. The couple got married in the year 2015. They both have two lovely children, named Misha Kapoor and Jain Kapoor.
