BJD lodges complaint against Dharmendra for arguing with flying squad

Bhubaneswar: A day after a video came to fore where union minister Dharmendra Pradhan was seen shouting at Election Commission flying squad members who had approached his chopper for inspection, BJD Wednesday approached the Chief Electoral Officer seeking action against him.

Accordingly to reports, Pradhan lost his cool after the flying squad members were not able to produce any documents pertaining to the inspection. Taking it as an effort to harass him, he was seen asking the squad if they inspect Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s vehicles too.

Interestingly though, another video surfaced today shows that Naveen’s chopper got inspected too. According to reports, the sudden inspection on Naveen’s chopper was carried out Tuesday at Rourkela.

Reports further suggest that unlike Dharmendra, Naveen sat in the chopper all through the inspection and cooperated with the investigators.
