Block-grant teachers to take classes from Monday but protest to continue

From September 24, on a rotation basis, teachers from two districts will continue the strike in Bhubaneswar,” Nayak said.

The forum will also stage a 12-hour strike October 2 in front of district Collectorates. All teachers will later join the ‘Siksha Bachao, Odisha Bachao’ samavesh at Mahatma Gandhi Marg October 9. The forum has threatened not to cooperate in election-related works if their demands are not met.
