Umerkote: Police Tuesday recovered bodies of two youths from a spot near Bamuni rivulet at Chikili village under Jharigaon block in Nabarangpur village.
Since a bike was also found lying close to the bodies, police suspect the youths had met an accident Monday night.
Some villagers who had gone near the rivulet to attend nature’s call Tuesday morning first spotted the bodies. They immediately informed the police.
Upon reaching the spot, the police recovered the bodies for post mortem. They found an AADHAR card and a Voter ID card carried by one deceased. From these documents, they identified one of the deceased as Mukunda Jani, a resident of Umerkote. Assuming that the second deceased also a local resident, the cops have launched an investigation.
The family members of the deceased are yet to be contacted, it was learnt.
