Tihidi: The body of a youth was found near the Bhadrak-Dhamra railway track between Mangalpur and Gandharbapakhori at Tihidi in Bhadrak district Monday night.
The deceased was identified as Pitambar Swain of Aaruha village under Sindole panchayat. Pitambar is said to have died after being hit by a train.
On being informed, police reached the spot.
However, the family members did not allow the police to take the body for post-mortem, demanding compensation.
The post-mortem could not be carried out till the filing of this report.
