Bhubaneswar: The session of the State Assembly would begin from February 4. A proposal to this effect was sent by the secretary of the Odisha Legislative Assembly to Governor Ganeshi Lal for his approval. As per the proposal of the state government, the Assembly session will continue till February 12. Taking note that the Assembly and the Lok Sabha elections are scheduled this year, the state government will present the vote on account instead of a full-fledged budget February 7, which will be presented by the finance minister Sashibhusan Behera. This would be followed by the appropriation bill.
