Parjang: At least 70 passengers were injured seriously in a road accident involving two passenger buses at Katumunda Square on National Highway 149 under Parjang Police limits in Dhenkanal district late Friday night.
The injured passengers of both the vehicles were rushed to Mandapal Hospital in Talcher. They are undergoing treatment, sources said.
According to sources, RB Coach Bus rammed into a Rourkela- bound bus named Sushil from rear, throwing it off the road. It was going to the steel city from Bhubaneswar. The front portion of RB Coach was also badly damaged. On being informed, police reached the spot and launched a probe.
