Bhubaneswar: Clearing the air on a possible change on the schedule of matriculation examination 2018 ahead of Bijepur by-poll, School and Mass Education Secretary PK Mohapatra Thursday said there will be no change in the examination schedule.
Speculations were rife about likelihood of matriculation examination 2018 conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE)-Orissa being rescheduled, as Bijepur by-election is slated around that same time. While the exam is scheduled to be held from February 23 to March 8, the by-poll will be held February 24.
“There will be no change in the examination schedule as there is no exam on the by-poll date. In case of a re-poll, the 13 polling stations to be set up in high schools, will be shifted to nearby primary or upper primary schools,” he said.
