Angul: In a mishap at Chheliapada Chhak under Angul police station, a car in which a couple was travelling hit a roadside tree as its driver lost balance over the wheels. Reportedly, wife has died while the husband was left severely injured.
The deceased was identified as Pramila Panda and her husband Siba Panda. Siba belongs to Burla of Sambalpur district and works in NALCO. It was learnt that both he and his wife Pramila had gone to Bhubaneswar to attend a marriage reception. While returning to Angul by a car (OD-19 B 3551), the car lost its balance at Chheliapada Chhak and hit a roadside tree.
Immediately, they were rushed to the Angul Headquarters Hospital in severe condition, where the doctor declared Pramila as dead. The husband was shifted to SCB Medical College & Hospital, Cuttack, after giving him first-aid as his condition was severe.
