Bhadrak: Acting on a tip-off, the Town police late Tuesday night seized a truck on National Highway-16 near Dahanigodia in Bhadrak district and rescued more than 60 cattle from the vehicle.
According to sources, a container truck reportedly hit an SUV which was carrying picnickers. Passengers on the SUV informed the Town police about the incident, following which cops reached the spot seized the truck.
Soon, it was found that over 60 cows were being transported in the truck. The animals were rescued and sent to a cattle shed in Cuttack, police sources said.
