Bhubaneswar: A CBI team consisting of eight officials raided AIIMS Bhubaneswar Thursday night to probe alleged irregularities in tender process, a source said Friday.
The CBI team carried out the raid at a pharmacy store that is present on the premises of the medical institute, added the source.
According to the source, the eight-member team seized some crucial tender-related documents to verify whether the tender was processed as per the standard government guidelines or not.
The team also examined the records relating to medicine purchases and interrogated the store owner.

It can be mentioned here that last year in November the Khandagiri Police had arrested as many as 12 brokers from AIIMS hospital in Bhubaneswar on charges of illegal ticket sales to patients.
