Bhubaneswar: A young girl, alleging that a middle-aged man molested her, hit him with her footwear in a moving bus here. A video of her act went viral on social media Wednesday.
The incident occurred at a city bus here when a man tried to molest the girl.
She was supported in her act by some co-passengers who forced the accused man to ask for forgiveness and step down from the bus immediately. The whole incident was shot by a co-passenger and it became viral within hours on social media.
Though the exact place of the incident is yet to be confirmed, it is believed that it occurred in the Khandagiri area in a city bus.
In a similar incident in April last year, a bus conductor was arrested for allegedly molesting two tribal women in Cuttack. According to the complaint, the bus conductor and helper made the women board the bus by giving wrong information. However, when the two realised that they took the wrong bus, the women questioned the conductor, but they were manhandled.
