Bhubaneswar: Dec 23: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik felicitated mountaineer Jogabyasa Bhoi at the Secretariat here Tuesday for successfully conquering the Aconcagua peak in Argentina. Aconcagua incidentally is the highest peak in South America. The CM also announced a cash award of Rs 2,00,000 for Bhoi. Also present during the occasion was sports and youth services minister Sudam Marndi.
Everest conqueror Jogabyasa from Kalahandi had also conquered Mt Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in South Africa. Earlier in this month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also felicitated Jogabyasa in New Delhi.
