Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will lead a high-level delegation to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to attract foreign investment, with a series of investment meetings scheduled in Dubai September 8 and 9 to boost foreign direct investment (FDI)
The delegation will include Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain, senior state government officials and industry representatives. During the visit, the delegation will hold one-on-one meetings with industrialists, investors and business representatives, Swain said.
The government will showcase Odisha’s industrial potential, infrastructure, investor-friendly policies and investment opportunities across key sectors. Special focus will be on metals and downstream industries, petrochemicals, renewable energy and green hydrogen, food processing, textiles, electronics, ports and logistics.
A roadshow will also be held in Dubai to highlight investment opportunities in the state and explain the government’s industrial policies.
The delegation will also participate in a special programme with Odias living in UAE.
