Baripada: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik sanctioned Rs 2.75 crore for 47 projects to be undertaken in 10 panchayats in Baripada block of Mayurbhanj district, Friday.
The Chief Minister interacted with the people from 10 panchayats who had gathered at the Station Bazaar playground through a video conferencing.
Patnaik said the projects for which the funds were sanctioned will be taken up expeditiously.
A sum of Rs 5.65 lakah was allocated for new ponds in Badajoda panchayat; Rs 6.45 lakh each for community halls at Tungadhua, Guhaldihi and Krushnachandrapur; Rs 7 lakh for a mini stadium at Patharchakuli; Rs 3 lakh for a community hall at Tentulishola; Rs 6 lakh each for Bhagabata Tungis at Bankishola and Badabrahmanmara.
